Fruit and Veg in Colour – End of project thoughts

What I have learnt:

Improved hatching

Improving commitment to line with pen

Use of felt tip pens

Use of oil pastels

Placing still life within context; my instinct is to go in close filling support with subject, but now I recognize that I can also include context, although it does require thought

Acceptance of bright colour

I need to work on:

Those backgrounds

Subtle use of colour

Clean lines

Using (twisting?) perspective to show all the elements I want to without compromising design and focus ( ref Picasso and Nicholson)
